Nikkei 225 opens with a 0.55% gap-down
Google Finance displayed the Nikkei 225 at 63,404.34 at 13:07:10 Japan time, down 607.00 points or 0.95%. It opened at 63,659.53 versus Friday’s 64,011.34 close. That is a calculated gap-down of 351.81 points or 0.55%. The displayed intraday range was 62,726.18 to 63,691.53.
TOPIX recovers from a near-flat lower open
TOPIX was displayed at 4,053.13 at 12:58:39 Japan time, up 24.83 points or 0.62%. It opened at 4,027.32 versus a 4,028.30 previous close, a calculated gap-down of 0.98 point or 0.02%. Its displayed range was 4,018.03 to 4,062.82.
