MRPL shareholders have two different dates to check for the company’s ₹3 interim cash dividend: 21 October 2026 for the ownership record and payment on or before 4 November. The signed exchange filing keeps these events separate; the dividend has not been verified as already paid.
The board approved the FY2026–27 dividend on 14 October. It applies to fully paid equity shares with a face value of ₹10 each. The notice describes ₹3 as 30% of face value. That is not a 30% return on the price an investor paid for the stock.

What “30%” actually measures
Face value is the nominal amount assigned to the share, not its exchange price or the investor’s purchase cost. Here the company’s percentage is simply ₹3 ÷ ₹10 × 100 = 30%. A market-price-based dividend yield would need a separately verified share-price input. This report does not calculate one or promise a return.
A gross-payment example
For illustration, 100 eligible shares × ₹3 gives ₹300 before any applicable deduction. The 100-share holding is hypothetical, not an eligibility minimum. A particular shareholder’s net payment and bank-credit date cannot be established from this calculation.
Keep the announcement and completion apart
The record date is the issuer’s eligibility reference, while the ex-date is the exchange’s trading marker. The payment deadline is a third, separate field. Shareholders should check the issuer’s official communication and their own holding records instead of treating a scheduled date as proof that cash has arrived. This report concerns the approved cash dividend, not a bonus allotment or share split.
Related context: LTM’s separate dividend deadlines. Those terms do not apply to this issuer.
