CME’s row places the last price 147.50 points below the high and 49.75 points above the low. The full trading range was 197.25 points, calculated from those extremes. These figures describe the December contract; a continuous chart that switches between expiries may show a different historical comparison.
Not the Nasdaq Composite
The Nasdaq-100 and Nasdaq Composite are different benchmarks. This report concerns the futures contract on the Nasdaq-100, and must not be read as a closing level for the Composite or as an executed cash-market opening price.
At the captured time, the regular US equity session was still ahead. NYSE’s official core-session calendar lists a 09:30 Eastern opening. A pre-open futures decline can narrow, reverse or persist; the snapshot alone does not decide which outcome follows.
For the broad US large-cap comparison, read the S&P 500 futures update. No stock-level explanation for this move has been verified.
