Why there is no Monday gap calculation
An opening gap compares a new session’s opening level with the previous session’s close. Because the exchanges are not conducting a Monday equity session, no valid Monday opening level exists and any claimed Monday gap would be misleading.
When trading resumes
NSE’s official 2026 holiday calendar lists Monday, 14 September as a trading holiday for Ganesh Chaturthi. Regular equity trading is expected to resume on Tuesday, 15 September, subject to exchange notices.
