Why the weekly context matters
A double-digit daily gain can look isolated, but the seven-day comparison shows that the latest move followed a much larger repricing. At capture time, the one-hour reading was negative, which also demonstrates that long-window strength does not mean every shorter interval is rising.
Independent exchange check
Kraken returned a last trade near $4.0843, closely matching the aggregate. Its 24-hour range extended from $3.6258 to $4.4508. The consistency supports the approximate level, although spreads and execution differ by venue and order size.
Turnover versus market value
Reported aggregate volume was roughly 36% of market capitalisation. That is a measure of trading activity, not unique investor participation. Repeated transactions can increase turnover, and market capitalisation is not the amount of cash available to exit.
Network claims kept separate
NEAR documentation explains the protocol’s accounts, transactions, validators and sharding design. CapKet does not use the price move as proof that network adoption or developer activity changed by the same amount. Those claims require different data.
Market-risk notice: Fast weekly gains can reverse and aggregated quotes are not executable. This report provides timestamped information, not a recommendation or expected-return estimate.
