Toyota Kirloskar Motor announced the new Glanza on October 14, 2026. Its separate official price-list page, checked with Delhi selected, shows ₹6,99,000 for E MT under ex-showroom prices. The launch release lists bookings from October 15 and deliveries starting in the first week of November. These are distinct milestones: a launch, a booking date and a planned delivery window are not the same event.
Price checked against Toyota’s own list
The release appends the word “lakh” after the full rupee figure 6,99,000, creating an inconsistent unit. CapKet did not use that wording to infer a price. The independent official price-list display confirms ₹6,99,000, equivalent to ₹6.99 lakh, for E MT in Delhi. The list also shows the following variants; these are observations at the source-check time, not a fixed nationwide quotation.

MT denotes manual transmission; AMT denotes automated manual transmission. Toyota labels AMT as automatic in its price list. Ex-showroom prices are not the final on-road amount: registration, insurance and other applicable costs need a separate quotation. Toyota’s list warns that prices may change without prior notice and asks buyers to confirm current prices and specifications with a dealer.
Booking amount and delivery timing
The launch release gives a booking amount of ₹11,000. That is a booking amount, not a claim that the car can be purchased for ₹11,000. Its dated schedule says bookings open on October 15, with deliveries starting in the first week of November. Elsewhere the same release says bookings are “now open”; this report retains the explicit date rather than claiming every booking channel was already operational when checked.
Check the chosen grade, not just the headline features
Toyota’s announcement lists a new 1.2-litre, three-cylinder Z12E petrol engine, CNG choices and an AMT option for CNG. It also lists connected-car functions and safety and cabin equipment. A range-level feature list does not establish that every item is included in E MT or every other grade. Buyers should verify the exact variant specification and booking conditions rather than treating the entry price as the price of a fully equipped version.
