Pax8 announced 8os and 8bot on October 19, 2026, with limited early access scheduled to start that week. The pair combines management software for technology-service providers with an AI coworker intended for their small-business customers. This is not unrestricted general availability.

What is available, and when?

Item Verified scope or timing Official source
8os Provider management of customer AI agents, access, usage and budgets; supported connections vary by release. 8os product details
8bot Managed AI coworker with a dedicated cloud workspace and individually approved app connections. 8bot product details
Limited early access The October 19 release says it starts this week for 8os and 8bot. Pax8 announcement
Wider rollout General availability is planned for early 2027; the 8bot page says access begins in January 2027. Release timetable; 8bot access notice

The two timing statements should not be collapsed into a claim that every customer can use the products now. The announcement describes a limited initial group, while the product page carries a later access notice. Neither guarantees an invitation or a final rollout date.

A service model, not a proven margin improvement

Pax8 positions 8os as a way for managed service providers—businesses that run technology for clients—to oversee AI work across customers. Its 8bot offering is intended to give those providers a service they can deploy and support for employees.

The commercial proposition is recurring managed service revenue rather than a one-off tool sale. That is Pax8’s intended model, not independently verified customer profit, revenue growth or productivity. This report does not repeat its market-first claim or survey percentages.

Check the controls before committing to customers

The product pages describe read-only starting access for 8bot connections and employee approval for write actions. They also warn that 8bot protections do not automatically cover third-party or custom agents. Compatibility is not universal, and budget features depend on the release.

For a prospective customer, the practical checks are which applications are supported, what each permission permits, who approves actions and how usage is billed. Visibility into spending is not a guarantee of fixed cost or a particular service margin. CapKet has not independently tested the software or verified a price list.
