SEBI has cancelled the investment-adviser registration of Capital Stroke Investment Services Pvt. Ltd. in a final order dated 15 October 2026. The order takes immediate effect. Its market-restraint direction is for 5 years, but expressly credits restraint already undergone. That qualification matters: it is not an additional five-year period beginning with the new order.
What the operative order actually changes
The certificate concerned is INA000001316. The direction restricts access to the securities market and buying, selling, dealing in securities or association with that market, directly or indirectly. Pages 49–50 require the earlier restraint under the interim and confirmatory orders to be set off. The earlier dates are 27 August 2021 and 8 June 2022. CapKet does not infer an expiry date or remaining duration from those dates alone.

Findings, the company’s response and refunds
SEBI’s conclusion cites serious and multiple established violations, including misleading website claims, overlapping advisory fees and involvement in unregistered advisory activity. These are attributed regulatory findings, not a CapKet criminal finding. The order also records the company’s denials, evidentiary objections and argument that cancellation was disproportionate. SEBI rejected the case for a lesser measure in its conclusion.
Paragraph 136 explains that, for the Green Wealth money examined, the record did not establish a transfer into the company’s accounts, so no refund direction against the company arose there. This is not a blanket promise that every affected investor will be repaid, nor an assessment of an individual recovery claim. Keep contracts, payment records and correspondence when seeking case-specific professional help.
This is a case-specific enforcement order, not a new rule for every investment adviser. CapKet’s separate SEBI closing-auction report covers a different market-rule change and should not be confused with this proceeding. The official order is the controlling source for the decision described here; the cover page is a locator for the same decision, not independent corroboration.
