Paras Healthcare plans to open its IPO for public bidding on 21 October 2026, with a ₹660–₹693 price band and a 21-share minimum retail application, according to NSE’s forthcoming-issue page. The practical distinction is where the offer money goes: the proposed ₹1,450 crore gross offer is not all new funding for the hospital company.
The issuer’s abridged prospectus splits it into up to ₹500 crore of fresh shares and ₹950 crore of existing-share sales, or OFS. Fresh shares raise issuer capital before offer costs; OFS proceeds belong to the selling holders. This is a pre-opening guide checked on 18 October, not a report of completed bidding.

How much is new company funding?
On the stated maximum amounts, fresh shares represent about 34.48% of the gross offer: 500 ÷ 1,450 × 100. The remaining approximately 65.52% is OFS. These calculated proportions describe the offer structure, not the final net cash available after expenses or a valuation judgement.
The proceeds plan earmarks ₹320.90 crore for the company’s borrowings and ₹54.10 crore through its wholly owned subsidiary PMHPL for that subsidiary’s borrowings. Together that is ₹375 crore. The plans are proposed allocations, not proof that any debt has already been repaid. The final general-corporate-purpose and net-proceeds amounts were still placeholders in the inspected abridged RHP.
One lot is not the same as every category’s minimum
At ₹693, 21 shares require ₹14,553; at ₹660, the same quantity is ₹13,860. Those are application calculations, not predictions of the listing value. The ₹2 lakh retail ceiling is a separate rule from the lot size. Larger NII applications follow different amount thresholds, so the retail minimum should not be copied into every investor category.
Dates, risks and what remains unconfirmed
