Attention was broader than one ticker
FIRO, Zano and Zcash all appeared in CoinGecko’s search-trending results after the political token was removed from CapKet’s selection. Monero did not appear in that list at capture time, but its $230.14 million aggregate turnover and positive daily performance make it relevant to the sector comparison.
Venue readings and size differences
Kraken showed Monero near $575.97 and Zcash near $1,522.86. Zcash carried a much larger reported market value than FIRO or Zano, while FIRO’s aggregate daily volume was only about $156,639. Percentage changes in thin markets should not be compared mechanically with those in deeper order books.
Privacy is not one technology
Official documentation describes different cryptographic designs and transaction models across these networks. Grouping them does not imply identical privacy guarantees, regulatory treatment or technical risk. CapKet reports the market cluster without rating individual protocols.
What would strengthen the signal
Continued breadth, sustained volume and corroboration across exchanges would provide stronger evidence than a single daily snapshot. Development activity and network usage must be evaluated from primary records. This page will remain fixed even if the market later reverses.
