One kilogram is the price basis

The source specifies silver rates per kilogram. Do not compare this amount directly with a per-gram retail label, a different purity or a futures contract. IBJA also says its published rates exclude 3% GST and making charges. The number is therefore not a complete shop bill or a verified offer available in every Indian city.

This report uses the selected historical PM series for the previous-day comparison. It does not substitute the October 14 AM rate, a global spot quote or an MCX settlement. The percentage is CapKet’s arithmetic, rounded to two decimal places, not a separately published IBJA forecast.
